I bake for my mum and I am crafty I make sure I have a lot of nutritious things in there so I am sure it is doing her good . wholewheat flour, carrots etrc, lower sugar. Banana bread in Recipes I can recommend. Sometimes she can be persuaded into accepting some meatballs or curry as well
In times gone by I would have baked and got the 'white knuckle' desperation going on, and all my energy going into avoiding eating it. For some time, i didnt enjoy cooking at all.
I think its been a healing thing that now I have gone back to cookery and enjoying it. I like to read library cookbooks and see how I can adapt the recipes. I am going there today for a browse.
