You are right Kathleen,thanks for the insights, I do love whole foods but I could never be completely vegan nor vegetarian....not long term anyway. I've tried that in the past and I'm so not satisfied. I just didn't expect to feel this way about animal products only 5 months into the program. It's been a phase before and eventually I get back to "normal". Just wondering what triggers.

I'm wondering if it has anything to do with some meds I was put on 3 weeks ago. I had hormone levels checked and was put on 4 different hormones. I was off the charts low on many. Me, who doesn't even take an aspirin (not saying it's bad, just prefer other things) is sensitive to medications too. I just don't have much of an appetite taking the meds but managed to eat anyway what I was supposed to. I'd been fine up until Mon when taste buds started to change.

I am loving my breakfast shake with sweet potato and greens mixed in. I do really well with that and journalling is going fairly well. Feelings are a bit sporadic but know they will come in time. I had moved onto step 3 a couple of weeks ago and that is going well also. I'm happy to go back to step 1 Kathleen if that's what you think is best. That is the one step that is easy for me and don't mind doing.
