: Hi Mosaic,
: I enjoyed reading your post. Im
: curious, you mentioned a late
: lunch is one of the worst things
: you can do. What happens when your
: late?: For me if im late, i get sugar
: cravings, and i turn into Mr. in
: your face, and people start
: irritating me over the smallest
: little things.
thats interesting! my experiences are tied into my blood sugar too. I love that self awareness you have ( Mr in your face is quite descriptive!)
I'm sure I am sensitive to the blood sugar curve as it says in YLD. I used to get irritable. That was one of my biggest journal words at the start Mostly people wouldnt know but Id slam the freezer door and grumble and huff to myself a lot.
I think my body got so practised at this sort of thing, that I almost bypassed Irritable with a flood of BE ( which you can imagine, I liked far better than Irritable ) and I got accustomed to an efficient, capable flying -on- BE state that I can still go into if I am not attentive.
so I know that if i keep my blood sugar looked after at all times, its the best thing I can do, because things then flow after in a steady manner, no up/down rolleroaster.
: A few of these lunchtime breadkdowns
: had got me on track with my BS
: right away when i first started
: making the connection between my
: moods and food. It has been a long
: time since i got 'caught' with
: nothing to eat. It still is
: incredible to see the power of
: food or the lack therof.
thats fantastic Tom.
So reassuring to read of you experience. And you are that calm one in the restaurant queue now
