I've never tried garam masala on yams...will try that. I have had a mixture of cumin and cinnamon...so yes, the garam masala sounds good!

Oh yes, species tulips...that might be what they are! Yes, I like things that come up year after year too. I've had tulips come up year after year, so I wonder if there are many types that don't need to be replanted.
