I've long since learnt that the worst thing I can do is have a late lunch. My body does not thrive on that too well We like lunch at 1.30 and no messing.
Today, a dilemma, everyone off sick at work so I had to stay late. This meant working 8-2 .
Luckily I had my container of snack things in my bag. a scoop of protein powder in a zip plastic bag and some nuts. I had to be a bit crafty to get at them but I decided on quick shake at 11 ish ( I stirred it into some decaf in my flask lid) and nuts at 1 ish.
this kept me fairly charming till 2, though I was tired. When I got home I found meatballs and cabbage and potato in one of my vast tupperware stores so I got to them with a speedy microwave.
Ive jsut had them, and a drink and a catch up on the forum so now I feel better
I'll write in my journal. This sort of thing used to upset me alarming, but after a few years steady steps its never that bad any more. I'm glad I know what to do.
Got spag bol in the slow cooker now( its got this fast-cook button) and I am going to go out for my walk. I'd rather be lazy but I know it will do me good
