Step 3 and Sugar

I am doing pretty well with Step 3, especially eating protein with every meal. Browns are in there too. However, I can't seem to get away from the once a week huge sugar binge and blasting away the BE receptors. That is my 30+ year pattern and I am finding it a tough cookie to break. I just don't want to eat the sugar every day or so, especially with meals. I know it's my body, but it's also a mind game.

Does anyone have a trick to getting on track with the sugar at meals and not all Thursday night in front of the T.V.?
