Question re: amount of protein
Hi there-
I'm a newbie, though I've tried sporadically "getting off sugar" for nearly a year now. Am realizing that I really do need to go SLOWLY and not try to get right to the payoff (better energy, less depression, and, for me, weight loss).
My question about protein: for my weight, my estimation is that I should be eating 35 grams (!) of protein at each meal. One concern is that it's very hard for me to get more than 30, though I can. My other concern is that I don't want to remain at this weight, so should I be eating the amount of protein for what I weigh now? Or should I eat the amount that would correspond to a healthy weight for me?
I'm grateful for any input on this!
