Yes I must reschedule those doctors appointments. I think since I have this free time two days a week I will gradually get caught up with some things I've neglected. I know my mother worries about me.

The other day my sister reminded me of why I'm here - to give our mother peace of mind in her final days while she stays in the home she's lived in for 50 years. Unlike your mother, mine never wanted to go to assisted living. But I'm glad your mother got to end her days at home with your dad there.
