Hello,
I'm a newbie and ready share, participate a bit. I started putting protien in my breakfasts without fail over a year ago because i felt so much better when I did. I also added beans and greens to my diet slowly, finding recipes or ingredients that excited me and finding ways to include proteins in my diet. I have never tried 'diet' - tell me i can't have it = instant urgent feeling - this can be food or anything really.
However some clarity arrived recently as i've stayed gentle and curious about bringing more positives into my life. I eat protiens and greens for the intense relief i get - from sugar crashes. I found a way on my own to get out of the crash, but I need help getting out of this / meal, sugar, brief high, long crash, meal, repeat/ pattern. Ug.
I KNEW there had to be others cultivating creative protein breakfasts - I found you and a lot more, seeing there's a community here.
I get bored with food easy, and don't eat it if i am not in the mood for it. I will move toward something and naturally let things that don't work fall away. It seems that's the gist in SARP.
I'm excited to have found a community in a process that relate to and am inspired by...
Tonight: a breakfast strata with leftover protein-laden veggies (mushroom, artichoke, zuchinni and tomato for fun) w/ Jennie O turkey ham. I'll eat it two or three meals this week, freeze the rest in single servings and have again in a few weeks. whole wheat french toast and ham for dinner.
Looking forward to the recipe shares and support in moving thru the 7 steps.
Jo
