That is so cool. My husband doesn't quite "get it" but he sees if my blood sugar drops and makes sure I eat when I need to. He is cute when we travel and know supper can be late , he will ask if I packed a snack. Or we have eaten out and my protein serving will not be enough he will share his. thoughtfulness is great.
I would love my nearest and dearest
: to really understand my steps and
: all the science and collective
: experience behind it. I used to
: get quite grieved about it.
: I have accepted that they wont ever
: 'get it' in the same way as I do -
: because they have not the same
: biochemistry as me.
: and I am grateful that I DO have a
: community of people who do
: understand
: Last night though was one of those
: joy moments. I was in
: Conversations chat when I heard my
: husband on the phone, agreeing to
: a dinner outing next week in a
: restaurant some distance away. He
: was being really insistant on
: taking down the name and details
: of the restaurant.
: he waited till after chat and said
: "We've been invited out to
: dinner next week. Ive got all the
: details for you and left the menu
: up on the computer for you to have
: a look at"
: Aw. Isnt that caring and nice I
: dont need that 'understanding'
: after all... thoughtfulness will
: do nicely.
