I've been on step 1 for over a month now, yet I have not been able to master it yet. I'm thinking I need more solid protein sources instead of whey or greek yogurt and milk. I'm over 6'6'' and at least 235lbs.
Is it normal to get dizzy this early in the process? Dizzy, faint. My brain feels like TV static. I know this is not good, but I just had a ginger-ale because I thought my head was going to explode because it was thumping so hard. I feel better though... I can actually read the forum threads now.
I have a bad habit. I was into weight-lifting before everything went downhill and I found myself addicted to prescription pills and, of course, sugar. A rule my trainer always said was that I was allowed to have ONE day a week to eat whatever I want. I think this is hurting me, as I go cold turkey for 5 days (if I make it that long), and then once I have a taste of simple carbs or sugar I'm binge eating (sometimes for days).
Is having a bottle of ginger-ale alright if it keeps me on track? Or something similar? I was actually pretty proud of myself at JUST grabbing a ginger-ale instead of 2 pints of Hagan Daz that is on sale.
Thoughts for a struggling beginner?
