Do I follow PNP or YLD?

I just discovered and finished reading PNP. I am absolutely 110% sure that I am sugar sensitive, and I am anxious to begin the seven steps! My main goal is to beat my sugar sensitivity and hopefully solve many of my symptoms (depression, fatigue, anxiety, lack of concentration, mood swings, etc.) BUT, I also have about 90 pounds to lose, so I am wondering if I should read YLD and follow that instead? Or do I follow the seven steps in PNP first, and THEN deal with the weight? I'm just concerned about "information overload" and am not sure where to start.

Any input would be appreciated!
