I was diagnosed with it about 2 years ago. I wasn't having regular periods and had breakouts primarily along my jaw line. Plus my mood was very erratic. I started taking Metformin about 6 months ago and my hirsutism got better, my mood improved, and I started having regular periods. However, my diet wasn't very good. Recently, I began having missed periods again and a mild depression has come over me. I started examining my diet and realized I ate far too many sweet and I thought I'd give Kathleen's book a try. So far, so good. I have been sweets free a little over a week. I think my withdrawal symptoms lasted 5 days. I feel great now. How it will impact my PCOS, is unknown so far.

Are there any other women who have experienced similar scenarios?
