Wow, good on you for packing your edibles.
I rely on raw pumpkin seeds-- lightweight, fits in my purse, tons of vitamins with good fats, good protein and fiber. I do add a little salt to the bag for taste or flaked coconut.

I still aim to get to a place where I actually am packing around cut vegetables :h2)

: Last week we went on a day out - to

: so for my day out I packed a few yam
: cakes in my bag, and a container
: of nuts for just in case of delays
: etc. and some film wrapped red

: I made sure breakfast was up to
: scratch too, specially as I was
: planning a lot of walking :h9)

: Loved walking round Oxford and I got
: to see all I wanted to see. Part
: of the fun of being
: radiant-on-tour is you get to case
: all the eating establishments as

: I quickly spied a Mc Donalds as thats
: my emergency place, as one can
: always rely on a beefburger to go
: with ones yam cakes, and a
: salad.... and the
: All-Day-Breakfast cafe's are also
: good for finding enough protein.
: But my husband wanted to buy
: something to picnic on from the
: Covered Market. He spied a pie
: shop with many, many different
: fillings that appealed to him. It
: was an astonishing display.

: looking round this huge stall I
: found cold roast beef, roast
: chicken and at a pinch there was
: salmon en croute that I couldve
: picked the pastry off ...

: but they did have fat Cumberland
: sausages and they were hot too, so
: I had those, two, tucked inside my
: yam cakes and we went out and ate
: in the spring sunshine - was
: really satisfying

: then we went and discussed our day
: over ( for me) Prawn Jalfrezi,
: channa dal and cauliflower bhaji .
