you've been doing this for 9 years and when you're in a health food store and they have a new bread that bills itself as whole grain and looks delicious, you pick up the loaf hoping it'll be:

truly whole-grain, not sort of whole grain-ish
free of any kind of sweetener and (for me)
gluten-free

And even though it's never ever happened, hope springs eternal. And even though you know it's a hopeless case you still read that ingredients label, dontcha?
