Thank you for the welcome. I now realize I simply need to begin at Step 1, and take it one step at a time. Since 2007, I've lost 60 pounds by removing sugar and wheat from my diet. I am at a healthy weight now, but binge on fruit instead of refined sugars. Even though uncomfortably full sometimes, I keep eating the fruit probably trying to get my sugar fix or manage stress and uncomfortable emotions. I think I eat because I am trying to feel better. I notice I am most vulnerable to binging on fruit late afternoon/early evening at the end of the workday when I am tired. So my eating habits are still compulsive sometimes, and I see that I've replaced refined sugars and refined carbs with fruits. I used to think that if I could just reach a healthy weight I'd be happy, ha! But am still struggling with mood swings, depression, fatigue, etc. Thanks again everyone for your your feedback, I'll begin with Step 1 and look forward to learning more.

: :Welcome Ann,
: It sometimes takes awhile to clear
: the mind and start at the
: beginning.
: At first I wanted to rush through and
: see what the potato did for me etc
: but
: the best way was to get these new
: ideas in my mind slowly.
: Breakfasts kept me from eating too
: much at night. It put me in reverse
: mode
: with a lot of food early and not much
: later on . That was great but took
: me a little time and a lot of
: advance planning.
: It is amazing to me to have stayed at
: a good weight for a long time and
: to have new food cravings for
: fruits and different vegetables.
