Re: A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL
In Response To: A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL ()

When I first started I felt the same way. All this thinking about food, what was the difference between that and thinking about my next sugar hit! That too healed. I now am amazed that I plan a little ahead and then it maybe almost lunch time and I have not thought about food since breakfast. Keep doing breakfast and it will heal. As for snacking make sure breakfast is the 4 parts
1. Within an hour of waking (I do best with half hour)
2. Proper amount of protien for your weight
3. With a complex carb (oatmeal holds me better than wheat)
4. Everyday!

Keep doing the food and one day you will realize you don't need that snack. 1used to graze all day long so 3 meals was hugh. I couldn't go more than 4 hours at first now I can go 5-5 1/2. You will heal. Good job so far on you healing. Chloe

Just wanted to thank everyone for all
: the help with the
: "snacking" issue ! I
: still can't get past the wanting
: stage of needing a snack two times
: a day. It just doesn't seem right
: not to have something in my mouth
: being chewed on by me ! It is
: almost more of a habit than the
: " sugar addiction" ! I
: know it's okay to eat now but it
: doesn't seem like it will stop (
: the wanting a snack, that is). I'm
: doing great with my breakfasts,
: I'm a creature of habit so it's
: easy to do the right things one
: time a day :) I just wish I could
: understand how to get past that
: point, to the two times per day
: thing ! I'm exercising and have
: lost 9 lbs. and I'm very proud of
: myself for doing so, but I have
: that "speed into it"
: type of pattern that always bites
: me RIGHT where I sit down ! SO, if
: anyone has any fool proof ways to
: get myself to stop thinking about
: food 24 / 7, I'd be VERY greatful
: !
: THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE SUPPORT , IT
: HELPS MORE THAN EVERYONE KNOWS !
