Re: Oven tuna croquettes

Joy dot: really cool picture on my calendar today - a bird photo for every day, today it's a Least Bittern with a long, stripey neck.

I am trying to remember how big I used to make them. I am not sure I've made them since my ex husband and I split up in 1994! But I did really like them. I would think dill would be an excellent addition, as well, and I am going to try them with different proteins. I think I used to make them about 1 1/2" diameter, but I don't have a ruler to confirm just how big that is. I know if I had a bowl of the mixture, I'd know exactly how big to make them.

I have almonds at home, so maybe I will try some with oats and some with almonds and see which I like better.

: Allison, these sound very good :h2)

: I would think they'd be tasty rolled
: in almond meal.

: Also, this might be a good recipe for
: chopped cooked chicken instead of
: tuna.

: The cooking time probably depends a
: lot on how big you make the balls.
: How big do you usually make them?

: Thanks for posting the recipe!
