Welcome Ann!
I see Kathleen has already responded, but I wanted to say hello!
This food program has been the only one that has ever helped me with my sugar cravings. It also helped with depression, mood swings...and yes, I even remember headaches...all are now gone.
Have you read about breakfast? It's nice to slow down a bit and see if you are doing all 4 parts: enough protein for your special body, a complex carb, eating within and hour, and eating every day!
It's nice to have you here.

: Hi, I am new to this specific
: program. However, at my
: naturopathic physician's
: recommendation, I have been on a
: food plan for the past 6 months
: that very closely resembles a
: combination of Steps 1 thru 6 but
: without the potato; and, the food
: journal was just a list of foods I
: ate. And the food plan also
: included the elimination of wheat
: and sugar from the start because
: those are trigger foods for me
: that result in cravings/binges. I
: got off track a bit during the
: holidays and had sugar, but no
: sugar since then and I still have
: mood swings, headaches, and
: overall feel depressed and
: fatigued. I've been in therapy for
: the past year for the depression.
: I don't want to take
: anti-depressants again, and in my
: search for other options I just
: discovered and read the book,
: "Potatoes, Not Prozac,"
: and see that I definitely fit the
: profile for sugar sensitivity. I
: want to feel better, and
: considering the food plan I've
: been on for the past 6 months I
: wonder how to best begin this
: program? Should I add the potato
: now? Or start with Step 1? I have
: given up trying to figure out how
: to feel better on my own, and
: would appreciate any guidance you
: can offer. Thank you! -Ann
