Hi Friends,
I'm on breakfast and feeling hopeful about healing and finding more balance with food and mood. (I started the steps and posted a little on the forum many years ago, but drifted away. I'm back and trying again - hello! I see some familiar forum names. That feels good.)
I have a question for you - especially if you (like me) have an ADHD brain. In your experience, has doing the food improved your ADHD symptoms?
My worst symptoms - easily distracted, hard to get started, easily overwhelmed, forgetful, unfocused... those sound like some of the SS symptoms I've read about here and in the books. (I don't take meds and I don't really want to, so I've sort of just accepted that this is my baseline and it won't really get any better.)
I want to heal my brain regardless of whether it helps my ADHD stuff, but wow, just the thought that doing the food *might* help me there also is a wonderful, fresh feeling of relief.
Breakfast is going great - it's nice to rediscover cottage cheese and protein powder!
Thanks for reading
Bevy
