: You'd think I would be happy to add
: back in something sweet. But it
: just makes me more depressed that
: I have to start back over again. I
: am afraid I don't know how to have
: a beginner's mind since I tried to
: have one my first time around and
: failed. Everything just felt so
: right. How do I start all over? Do
: I keep doing what I am doing and
: just add something sweet back in?
: Or just start with eating
: breakfast every day and go back to
: bingeing?
: Has anyone else experienced this and
: can offer some guidance?

Yes! Don't give up hope. Just have faith in the process. Don't even stress about it. Just tell your brain: one thing at a time.
Make that one thing: breakfast.
Give your loving attention to it and really sink into the peace of the step.
If you are still eating your three meals with protein and browns, that's awesome, it is just not where your loving energy and attention are focussed. If you are adding some sweetness to your meals since you are simply focussing on step 1, then that's great, don't let it worry you.
Sugar is not the enemy. Addiction is. This wonderfully simple but not easy WILL heal addiction and will give you so much. Don't focus on the sugar. Focus on breakfast.
Give yourself this gift.
