Hi Siobhan. I agree with the backing up a little. I have also been doing some of these steps before RR and though i could jump right into the potato at night. Not only did it give my nocturnal hypoglycemia (remember i have reactive hypoglycemia) but i would feel wired on it. So i am sticking to my protein/carb meal right before bed. Its what i have to do right now to make things easier on my body. I hope with time that my body settles down with the sugar sensitivity and lets me continue on with the steps. Until then i continue with that meal before bed and supplement with prozac. I am going to give my body 3 months before i even try to move on. Good luck. I hear your frustration about your weight and feel for you. I also can not lose weight and exercise tends to make me burn out and gain weight. So i focus now on healthy eating and hope the body chemistry gets fixed. I also would love to lose weight.
