Food for health

When I improved my diet I stopped catching 5 or 6 colds, coughs and other bad germs a year which used to lay be low for 2 or 3 weeks at a time. It was as if good food switched on my immunity switch.

I stopped crying every day and I felt happier too.

I believe we are only just realising how badly most people eat today compared to the past. I read Sugar Nation (a book from the US about diabetes (which I do not have)) which along similar lines.

I can eat fruit for England (because it is like sugar for me but better for me) and I could live on sea food, salmon I have grilled for 3 lunches a week, but vegetables are harder in larger quantity for me and I need to persevere. I certanily agreed with a lot of what was said on the video on that link.

When I had an accident this year it was interesting that the one of the first things I wanted to do was ensure my diet was optimal because I feel such a close connection between how I feel and my body's ability to heal and for me to feel happy whatever my physical condition.
