Curious to know what you mean by 'fancy water'. I have tried lots of different waters and find I do much better on tap water. Filtered tap water of course.
Water with other things added just do not work for me (the kind you buy). We have a machine where we make our own sparkling water. I use that as a treat with a splash of orange juice or apple juice or lime juice or just plain. But it NEVER quenches my thirst. I have tried to add things like lemon juice or lime juice to plain water and that used to help me. But I find that my body really prefers the plain cold filtered water. I keep a Britta Pitcher in my fridge so I have access to it anytime I am at home. At work we have a water machine so I make sure I get water first thing when I get to work. I like to use the little 8 oz cups. For some reason I drink more that way I guess it just does not feel so daunting as when I have a big glass. Plus it gets me up from my desk for refills.

However, there are times that by the time I get back to my desk the cup is empty and I have to go back but I find that a good thing.

But the one thing I have noticed is that water first thing in the morning is huge for me. I used to never drink fluids. I was lucky if I got 4 oz in in one day. I was chronically dehydrated. But have been that way most of my life. It is something I really need to focus on. Plus I live in a very dry climate.
