Jeffrey,
Have you wondered why we suggest doing the steps the way
they are written?
You know, you are simply doing the same ole, same ole pattern.
Putting your body into shock isn't going to heal it.
A very large portion of what the steps are about is helping you get
to a place of surrender, where you might trust that your own brain
is not going to give you the best information about how to heal your addiction
I sure would love to support you in that.
They way you are looking at this is simply another face of the same insanity...the part that says,
*I* know better than anyone how to fix this.
