joy dot: just started a good book from the library

For me, coffee was a major addiction. Every time I tried to cut down, I couldn't do it. And if I didn't get a cup of coffee when my body was used to getting it, I'd get a horrible withdrawal headache. When I travelled, I always had to find out where the nearest coffee was, and then decide whether to shower first, or go out all grubby with wild hair to get it. That is why I quit.

As you go through the steps, you'll get to decide whether coffee is a problem for you or not. But for now, you don't even have to think about that, except that if you put sugar in your coffee, you need to have it with a meal in the later steps.
