: Hi Verena,
: and welcome back!
: When I saw your name here again, I
: remembered a post you once did
: when you had just moved to the

: you would update me on how things
: turned out:
: I think you said you were getting a
: skin rash every time you ate
: something (?) and couldn´t figure
: out what that came from. I am
: asking because I am getting a lot
: of facial skin irritations (very
: dry skin, itching, chapped skin)
: and am wondering whether that
: might have to do with
: psychological stresses rather than
: food-related ones (I move

: Do you remember this post?
: Thanks, and good to see you back on

Hi Andrea,
I still get those allergies in winter a little bit - not in the summer, though. Right now, for instance I'm quite itchy. It gets better from year to year, though - the itchy periods get less and less, my rashes are much better and I have hope that some day it will be over altogether.
What has helped me is getting enough sleep and less stress. Very definitely going gluten-free - and being strict about it. No soy sauce or normal oats for this girl. As little covert sugar as possible. Fish oil - two teaspoons a day - has made such a difference, too. If you can get your hand on fishoil I would definitely recommend it.
Good luck! It's no fun at all. I hope you find a solution.
Verena
