Re: Serotonin + Gardening research

Hey Kari the wannabe mud wrestler ;) ;)

I'm excited to see your response to my post. I often think of you when I'm out in the garden, or admiring my potplants! It gives me joy to know you enjoy plants to much.

Yes, there's something special about gardening ... I often resist getting my hands dirty (esp unclean nails!) but once I take the plunge, I love it! Now I understand that it's a BE *and* serotonin raiser too!

I love the smell of dirt + rain. Aaah, that is heavenly!

I've got two potplants that I got around the time I 'met' you. The peace lily in particular was in bad shape after I left it outside and forgot about it (oops!). The past year or two, I've been nurturing it (indoors), and it's gone from being shrivelled and sunburnt to having strong, glossy, abundant leaves. Soooo gorgeous!

I've been wanting to share that with you for ages. I'm so proud of myself, and having you in my heart has helped me persevere!
