My new taste today is Earl Grey tea. A friend gave me a box of a hundred different kinds of red, black and green teas. The Earl Grey languished and I still had some left from a previous box of teas.
The bergamot ingredient had always tasted weird to me but oddly enough I liked it today. I drank a couple of cups. It was very soothing. Then I read about bergamot being now cultivated in Italy and the whole legend of how the tea got the name.
