Kathleen,
This makes me feel even better about what I'm doing, thanks! While we're on the subject, have people been able to get off of thyroid meds after doing this program? I'd really rather my body get back to creating her own hormones instead of taking them.
Thanks,
Dodi
: I once had a very interesting
: conversation with my Vet about
: this thyroid
: issue. I asked her why there was such
: conflicting information for people
: about when to take
: it and the dog docs never speak about
: that.
: She said, the key is to maintain a
: steady dose. Same time, same
: variables. Because what you
: want is to maintain a steady amount
: in the blood stream. Most human
: docs say a time on an empty
: stomach
: and an earlier time allows it to
: dissolve and get into your blood
: before eating. But if you have it
: at 10 min before, and you have it
: at that same time every day, then
: that is what you body gets used
: to.
: Once you have been taking it for a
: while, then you have built up a
: reserve and you are simply
: refilling the tank.
: I think the key is to minimize the
: variables. Same amount, same time,
: and same relation to eating,
: whatever that may be. And for ss
: people, eating earlier is
: important. So ask your doctor and
: see if you can get a schedule that
: works with your program.
