Hi all,
I’m on my last week of coffee weaning; I’ll be off of it by a week from today. It’s gone smoother and easier than any of my attempts ever before, and I’m super grateful to this program for that. I’m thinking about posting every day for a while after my last cup, because that’s when it seems to get the scariest for me. Many times coffee is more of a comfort to me than sugar is.

I had a funny thing happen. I was out and about and saw a cute plaque that said:

“Life is Grand after Coffee”

In my mode of looking forward to life after coffee, I was excited to see it and wanted it! But then it finally dawned on me that it was really implying that

“Life is Grand after drinking my daily Coffee”

Oh, so sad. A plaque that celebrates an addiction.
