Hi Chloe,
I fully agree with you - breakfast has always been important to me. I always used to tell people "I never leave home without it"
But I never knew about the 'within the hour' thing, and since being on the program I have found that this aspect of it is quite tricky for me.
The main catch is that I take a thyroid pill first thing in the morning. Then I have to wait half an hour before eating. In that half hour, I start doing things (usually computer things) and I get very involved in them and also get a kind of a "high" doing them. It can be school work I am preparing, or visiting this forum - usually both.
It becomes hard to tear myself away from them, and I end up delaying breakfast in the process
It has occurred to me to go for a walk, then come home with a healthy appetite for breakfast. Problem is, I need the morning time for lesson prep., as I'm too tired to do it in the evening. In the morning, I am razor sharp, and prepare my lessons with ease.
I could wake up half an hour earlier, but need the sleep.
I need to sort this out.
Thanks for your encouragement

: Breakfast is so important. So this is
: great you are revisiting it. I do
: best eating within the half hour
: of waking. So that one hour and 10
: minutes might be too long for you.
: But you will get it worked out.
