Taste change Day one

I am setting myself a taste change challenge for the next two weeks.
Each day I will try something entirely new, even something I previously scorned, like raw onions.
I actually did that on Friday and amazingly they tasted really good on my salad.
I know opportunity will present itself on this one.If it doesn't I will scour the produce section for a turnip.
My journal will let me know if this food suits me or not.
Why do this ? I am in a bit of a rut with my vegetables and fruits.
I read an intriguing article about how our taste buds as adults can handle far stronger tastes than those we despised as children.
