Hi Karen,
What does relapse mean? Have you already tried giving up sugar? On Step 1, the only thing you have to worry about is the four parts of breakfast. Having sugar at noon (or anytime the rest of the day) is totally fine on your step. I'm just hoping you're not trying to move too fast. The steps are meant to build upon each other and give you support so that you can steadily make it to step 6 (giving up sugar) and beyond.
