I tried a few protein powders through the years. Lots in the stores would have some kind of sweetener. I now use and love it is the shake sold in RR store. Restore, taste great, mixes well and no added sweetener or sugars.
I'm on Step One and using a protein
: powder isolate which seems to be
: pretty good stuff--derived from
: grass-fed cows, non-denatured,
: much lower carb content than the
: supermarket brand I started out
: with, dissolves easily in milk and
: tastes really pretty good, even on
: the mornings when I don't have
: time to add berries, etc. In fact,
: it dissolves so well, and tastes
: so good, that I'm suspicious
: (which is typical of me--"if
: I'm not suffering, am I
: cheating?"). The label says
: zero grams of sugar, but it is
: sweetened with stevia. Should I be
: concerned that the sweetener is in
: any way interfering with the
: benefit of getting the protein
: early in the morning? (If not,
: should I be concerned about that
: at some point, but maybe not this
: early in the game?) Thanks for
: your thoughts!
