Is it REALLY 0g of sugar??!!
Hi, quick question about reading food labels.
I bought a new gluten-free, vegan, organic bread, it has only 9 ingredients, no fillers, and the last three ingredients are: raisin juice, sea salt, xantham gum. (first six are: whole quinoa, whole millet, water, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, psyllium husk.)
Now, I am confused, because the nutritional information label specifically states: serving size 1 slice, sugars 0g. (total carbs are 15g, dietary fiber is 3g of that.)
In your opinion or actual nutritional knowledge (even better), is the company misrepresenting the sugar here, or is it really so low as to be negligable?
Is this something I should not eat on a total no-sugar diet?
Thank you!
